These are my hot eyes

Today when I picked Erin up at preschool the kids were playing outside. Today is the first really warm day we've had, and I think it was about 85..last week there were still a few below freezing nights. The flowers I planted seem to be ok, but the basil plants completely froze. Erin told me how super hot she was and then we went inside to get her back pack. On the way out she looked so droopy I asked her if she was tired, and of course she said "no! Tired seems to be a terrible thing to admit to...someone may actually expect you to lay down and rest).
In the car she said" Grammie, look at my eyes...These are my hot eyes...not my tired eyes...so when you see my eyes look like this you should know I'm hot, not tired.
a few minutes later she said..hot eyes are upper, and tired eyes are more downer..then she did a good demo of downer and upper eyes...so hopefully I won't confuse hot eyes with tired eyes ever again. When I get organized I will take pictures to go with this story.
